In-App Camera Module
A reusable CameraX 2.0 capture module with cropping, video recording and FFMPEG composition.
Overview
A drop-in camera surface for a suite of apps that all needed the same capture behaviour and none of which should have been reimplementing it. Built on CameraX 2.0, it handles photo capture with in-flow cropping and video recording against a single lifecycle-aware controller.
Downstream of capture, FFMPEG composes the captured images and clips into finished media — stitching sequences, overlaying frames and transcoding for delivery — so the app could produce shareable output without a server round trip.
