Overview

My final project at BJIT Academy: a cricket companion app built against the Sportmonks API, covering live match state, fixture detail and player career records.

Structurally it was the exercise that made MVVM click — a Room database as the single local source of truth behind a Singleton-managed repository, Retrofit handling the network edge, and the ViewModel layer keeping the UI honest about loading and error states.
